I was born in Philadelphia, PA, grew up in Miami, FL and had an almost “Ozzie and Harriet” childhood. Thankfully, I was reared by two Godly parents, albeit finite beings, who modeled what they taught.

I have been married to the love of my life, Buzz, since 1967 and while we’ve never been blessed with children, we have had five precious dogs who have shared our life and helped fill that void. In addition, we have been blessed with countless teenagers who have walked through our lives over the years. To our joy, many have stayed.

Since pre-teen days I have been a student of end time prophecy. To watch Biblical prophecies unfolding in my lifetime has been my passion and joy. When I think about the fact that we are privileged to be living in what may be the end times…a time believers have longed to experience for millennia…honestly, it makes my heart beat a little faster.

Through the years, as I’ve excitedly told friends and/or family something I’ve just learned or observed, I have, for the most part, been met with two reactions: 1) “Ho hum (yawn)” or  2) “These things have been happening since time began.”

Really?

As anyone who has read my FaceBook rants knows, I end a lot of them with “Beam Me Up,” hence the title of this blog. I think it says a lot.

I don’t claim to be a writer and will no doubt break the “rules” of blogging but what you read will be my random thoughts written down. Maybe you’ll share your thoughts as well? I hope it encourages you to look for the soon return of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
